What is therapy like?


Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes once per week, though this may vary depending on individual needs. The first 2-3 sessions are used to get to know each other and to conduct a thorough assessment of current problems, relevant history, and individual strengths. We will collaboratively develop a plan for treatment and clarify your goals in therapy. For some problems, a specific, evidence-based intervention may be preferable, whereas other problems may call for a flexible approach.


How long does therapy take?


The length of therapy depends on a number of factors. Some people may benefit from a short course of treatment (8-12 sessions) for specific problems. Others may prefer longer-term therapy for complex issues or multiple problems. We will discuss the course and length of treatment in our initial sessions and we will re-evaluate your needs periodically.


Do you take insurance?


While I am not on insurance panels, I am happy to assist you with out-of-network benefits.


What forms of payment are accepted?

What is your cancellation policy?


Please provide as much notice as possible if you cannot make a session or need to re-schedule. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hour notice will be charged in full.
